Describe your college experience
Transitioning to college was definitely a journey and a difficult thing to do, but I have no regrets because I’ve had the best couple of years of my life. College has brought so many great opportunities for me and I have met some of the best people, including some of my current best friends. I never feel like an outcast or stranger at Auburn because of the welcoming, loving atmosphere and students. It’s also very hard to be bored, as there’s a plethora of things to get involved in and do on campus.
Tip for future students
Please get out of your dorm/apartment! Go to events, socialize, and meet people. Joins clubs and organizations of your interest. Take risks, you only have your freshmen year once and it’s what you make it, no one else has control of it but you. Break out of your shell and step out of your comfort zone, grab at any opportunities that you possibly can. You’re not the only confused or nervous one, don’t worry.
Favorite class
My favorite classes were either Anatomy and Physiology lab or Microbiology lab. They were so fun and I got to be hands-on about stuff I’m passionate about and interested in! I even plan on applying for helping with the Micro lab in the Fall! I also loved my Intro to Psych lecture, the professor was great and it was an interesting class.
Career goals
I hope to work and gain patient care experience and then go to PA school.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I love hanging with my friends and going out on a free night, it’s very refreshing.
