Hi! I'm a junior at FSU who loves getting involved on campus, whether it's attending event, joining organizations, or just meeting new people. I'm a big fan of reading, dancing, and winding down with a good movie night. While I love being social, I also really value my alone time to relax and recharge. I'm always looking for new experiences, great conversations, and ways to grow both personally and professionally.

Describe your college experience

My transition to college was amazing, even though it was a bit tough at first since I lived off campus. What really helped was getting involved right away. I went to career fairs, joined a few clubs, and made an effort to talk to the people sitting next to me in class. I prioritized taking in person classes and pushed myself to try new things, even if it meant doing them alone at first. Because I put myself out there, I've built a great group of friends and have had a really fulfilling college experience so far.

Tip for future students

Get involved! It's so important to try new things, even if they make you nervous or uncomfortable, you never know who you'll meet. During my first week, I went to a movie alone at the ASLC, complimented someone's outfit, and we ended up talking and hanging out all night. Don't be afraid to put yourself out there! Also, make time for the things you love. College can get busy, but it's important to take care of yourself and make space for what brings you joy.

Favorite class

My favorite class so far has been Professional Sales with Angie Kovarik. It was a very interactive and engaging course that really helped build my confidence. We worked on improving our LinkedIn profiles, practicing real-world skills, and made meaningful connections with classmates. Angie was an incredible professor, she made learning easy, fun, and truly enjoyable!

Career goals

After graduating college, I plan to move abroad to France and teach English as a foreign language.

Ideal way to spend a free night

My ideal way to spend a free night is either getting together with my friends and doing literally anything—we always have a good time—or staying in and watching a good movie to relax and unwind.

Previous college

I transferred from Seminole State College in Sanford, Florida, where I was dual enrolled in high school. After graduating, I continued there to finish my Associate's degree before transferring to FSU. My transfer experience was great. I joined the Transfer Student Union for a bit, which helped me meet people in similar situations and made the transition much easier.
