Roberto S
Hi there, I'm Roberto and I'm a rising senior at the University of South Carolina studying Information Science. I was born in Columbia, but I've moved around most of my life which included a 6-year stint in Germany. Outside of my classes, I'm a huge sports fan and I support the Gamecocks, Nuggets and Panthers.

Describe your college experience
My transition was initially a tough one, but I've been able to grow every year. My experience at USC has been great thanks to a wide variety of courses, sports, and on campus activities.
Tip for future students
Before starting school, I wish I was more prepared for the transition from high school to college. I didn't take it seriously enough freshman year, and I hurt because of it. My biggest tip would be to not slack off and take your classes seriously. It's also okay to struggle sometimes.
Favorite class
My favorite class at USC was Sports Media and Society because of the course and the professor Mr. Hull. I enjoyed getting to learn about how the media operates in the sports world and the impact it has.
Career goals
After college, I plan to fully enter the workforce with my goal being finding a way to combine my degree of information science with sports.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night would be with friends at a football or basketball game specifically a South Carolina game.
