Describe your college experience
My college experience has been exceptional. USC has provided me with everything I need to succeed in life. They have counselors that are available to talk to me if I have a rough time, several events are happening throughout the week, and lastly, the professors care about me and my ability to excel in the class.
Tip for future students
One tip I have for future students is to surround yourself with like-minded people. You will excel better with people who have the same goals as you than with those who do not. Another piece of advice is to use the extra help with the TAs if you are struggling in a class. They are there to help you, not judge you. Lastly, have fun in college. Grades do matter, and so does attending class, but also have fun and enjoy activities such as football games, Hip-Hop Wednesday, etc.
Favorite class
My favorite class would be either University 101 or my Chemistry 101 lab. In University 101, everyone was friends with everyone. Not only were we able to talk and play team-bonding games, but it was also a safe place to talk about more difficult topics. The chemistry lab was fun. I enjoy completing experiments with my lab partners and feeling an abundance of pressure about the upcoming exam.
Career goals
My goal is to become a teacher in Greenville and eventually go back to school to obtain my PhD and become a professor at a university.
Ideal way to spend a free night
The two ways I usually spend my free nights are either staying at home and chilling with my family or going out with my friends. I am a go-with-the-flow type of person.
