Hello, my name is Jason and I am a rising sophomore at NC State University. I am apart of Greek life and in a few clubs here as well. In my free time, I love spending time with my friends, playing tennis, and going to the gym! I was originally an out of state student before moving close to Raleigh in December of 2024.

Describe your college experience

At first, the transition to college for me was difficult as an out of state student. I only knew one other person from my high school who happens to be one of my closest friends now. Greek life has given me the opportunity to meet new people and I believe that joining a fraternity was the best decision I’ve made since becoming a college student.

Tip for future students

I know everyone says this, but getting out there and trying new things is the best tip I can share. The first few weeks everyone will be wondering who their friends are going to be, so do not worry about finding your “group” right away. By joining different things you are interested in, things will work out.

Favorite class

My favorite class has been Introduction to Weather and Climate with Brian Eder because it is very easy.

Career goals

I plan on getting my CPA and working as a public or private accountant.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Hanging out with my friends.
