Describe your college experience

I first came to UA as an undergraduate seven years ago. Since then, I've completed both my bachelor's and my master's degrees here. Along the way, I've had the opportunity to be involved in several extracurricular clubs, in addition to keeping up with my schoolwork. The people I've met throughout my time here have been amazing, and I've also made sure to attend a few football games!

Tip for future students

Make friends - whether that's sitting with someone in the dining hall, chatting with a classmate before lecture, or joining a new club! Go to class! Do the readings and assignments! You'll learn so much. Talk to your professors! Go to office hours, email them with questions, and make sure you leave an impression on your future mentors.

Favorite class

I took a graduate class on Jewish Victorian literature, and that was really fun! I got to learn a lot about the era, while also focusing in on specifically Jewish questions.

Career goals

I plan to become an English professor at a research university!

Ideal way to spend a free night

I really enjoy reading a book on my balcony (preferably with my dog nearby)
