Describe your college experience
I started out at ECU then transferred to Cape fear community college to finish up my prerequisites for my major. I then applied to NCSU and got accepted into the Wilson college of Textiles! Im so glad I did this because now I have all my classes out of the way so I can focus on my major.
Tip for future students
NCSU is an amazing school! My one tip is to sign up for classes early to avoid being waitlisted. One thing I wish I knew before starting school here is that off campus housing is a big thing and you need your own transportation since the campus is so big. (Though their busses go almost everywhere).
Favorite class
Economics has been my favorite class because i'm really interested in business and the economy. I think it provides great framework for understanding how and where we get our resources from and how they are divided among the people. It also helped me learn more about the financial aspect of not only our country, but our world, which led me to be more understanding about how I use things and what I buy to do my part in the global economy.
Career goals
I plan to get a business job in Raleigh or Charlotte after school doing analytical work for a fashion company!
Ideal way to spend a free night
My favorite way to spend a free night is to invite my friends over, cook a good meal, then go and get ice cream and talk all night.
