Describe your college experience
I began undergrad in 2021, so my experience was heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite this I found it was easy to make new friends and make connections as long as you work for it. I’ve enjoyed almost every class I’ve taken here and have made long lasting connections with a few professors!
Tip for future students
Reach out to professors early! Don’t be afraid to go to office hours and introduce yourself or just chat. And yes, the winters do suck.
Favorite class
Abnormal Psychology (PSYCH 270), LGBTQ+ Reproduction (WGS 415), and Korean language classes were all instrumental to helping me develop both my career goals and my self confidence.
Career goals
I will be attending the University of Chicago for a Master’s in Social Work to become a therapist!
Ideal way to spend a free night
Get dinner with friends at one of the many amazing restaurants in Ann Arbor, then watch movies at home!
