Hi! I am a rising Junior studying Advertising and Public Relations, as well as Psychology. I am from Chapel Hill, NC, so I know the surrounding area very well! I am a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America here at UNC, as well as a member of Greek life. In my free time I enjoy going on long walks/runs on campus, hanging out at the North Carolina Study Center, working at Free People in Durham, trying new coffee shops, and reading.

Describe your college experience

Coming from Chapel Hill, NC, it was always my dream to attend the carolina blue university! While my first few weeks of adjustment to living on my own were challenging, I used it as motivation to grow as a person and find my people at UNC. From freshman year dorm life on south campus, to sorority recruitment, to being a part of Younglife ministry, to creative expression in my media and journalism classes, the last two years have been everything I have dreamed of in a college experience. I can't wait to show you the campus that I have grown up on, and that I now call my home.

Tip for future students

I wish I knew how important it was to get involved in groups right when you get here! It can feel overwhelmingly large the first week, and sometimes it felt like the only people that knew me were my suitemates. I wish I had gotten involved the minute I had gotten here and met all of the amazing people I know now even sooner. With that said, there is so much to get involved in, and no matter where you come from, you will find your group!

Favorite class

My favorite class was MEJO 121, intro to digital storytelling, where I put together a semester long project which focused on a subject, involving a video I shot and edited and a website I created from scratch.

Career goals

I hope to go into international Public Relations. This summer I am studying abroad in Florence, Italy, where I hope to gain insight into the international realm of my major.
