Describe your college experience

Transitioning to college is one of the hardest parts of your life. I was so scared to come to school because I didn’t know anyone and I was scared to make friends. Turns out, there’s not much to be scared of! Lots of people on campus are brand new. Making friends was easy!

Tip for future students

Some tips for future students are not procrastinating, like putting off work until the last minute or not studying. It’s also a great skill to have to be able to recognize the state of our mental health!

Favorite class

My favorite class is my principals of art class. Yes… it’s almost 3 hours long, BUT we are just painting and drawing the whole time. It never felt like I was in there for three hours.

Career goals

After college, I would love to have my masters in architecture, and my license in real estate! I want to do architectural design while freelancing on the side.

Ideal way to spend a free night

I think it totally depends on your mood. There’s a lot to do with a free night! Sometimes it’s great to stay inside and maybe treat yourself to your favorite snack and watch a movie! Or, you could go out with friends. If weather permits, there are lots of volleyball courts between the dorms, as well as fire pits and seating near d2.
