I am a first-year student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign enrolled at the Gies College of Business. My current major is Finance and Data Science as a double major. I hope to pursue a career in cybersecurity​/​data analytics specializing in financial data. In the little time I have been here, I have gotten to know campus very well and would love to assist you and your family with becoming more familiar with the area.

Describe your college experience

I was initially very hesitant to begin college being a far distance from home. Grew to love the experiences of meeting new people, developing my own schedule​/​becoming independent, and bettering myself through education!

Tip for future students

Be more opened minded to growing and experiencing new things! I came to college with Plan A and B with what i wanted to do, the organizations I wanted to become involved with and I am probably somewhere between Plan's E and F!

Favorite class

My favorite class thus far has been my experience in STAT107, specifically known as Data Science Discovery. From there, I learned how to code

Ideal way to spend a free night

Out with friends. It doesn't really matter what I am doing so long as I have their company. Love trying new food spots of campus!
