I am a first year at the University of Virginia majoring in politics and media studies. I am very involved on grounds and am in many clubs, including the ski team, Cavalier Daily (student newspaper), greek life (DZ!), and the student radio. I absolutely love UVA and I can't wait to share it with all of you guys!

Describe your college experience
It has been amazing! I've met so many amazing people that I love from all over the world, made so many great memories, and taken really interesting classes. UVA is so beautiful and there is so much to do here!
Tip for future students
Don't be afraid to go talk to everyone in your hall - that's how I made a lot of my friends! Also, join clubs that seem interesting to you, and try new things!
Favorite class
Reimagining the News - the professor was amazing and we had such cool guest speakers - including the CEO of The Onion! I learned a lot about the future of journalism and the innovation in the news industry right now. I also love Cultures of Hip-Hop. It's so cool to learn about the history of such a great genre of music!
Career goals
I want to work in music management or entertainment law.

I love either going out with my friends or making food and having a movie night together!

Ameila was an outstanding tour guide for our family. She gave a comprehensive tour of most of the major spots on campus that would be of interest to a prospective student and family. She answered all of our questions and offered a lot of information through her own experiences that gave our son a great view of what life would be like for him at U VA. She is really happy at U VA and is showed in her presentation. The private tour with just our family was well worth the small cost. We would highly recommend her as a tour guide. Amelia is fantastic. She made sure we saw buildings based on my son’s intended major and interests. She was energetic and fun and provided insight that we likely would not have received in any other way. My first time using schoolscoops was a 10 out of 10 because of her.
