Hi! I am currently in my junior year at Florida State University and am from Miami, Florida. I am majoring in marketing with a minor in retail entrepreneurship. I transferred to this school here my sophomore year, and have loved every second since. Since I have now been to 2 universities, I know from experience what is better here than other schools. I am ready to show you around this amazing school, and tell you all the ins and outs that come with being an FSU student.

Describe your college experience

I have loved my time in college so far. Becoming fully independent takes a little bit of time to get used to, but once you do, you are able to thrive. Classes in college are great because you have the ability to cater your schedule according to your interests.

Tip for future students

I wish I knew that choosing a college that everyone wants me to go to instead of the one I actually want will not make me happy. I am so glad I realized this and decided to transfer to Florida State.

Favorite class

My favorite class has been MAR3231 Retailing Management with Luke Hopkins. He is an amazing teacher and makes the class so engaging and entertaining. The content is very fun to learn as well.

Career goals

After college, I hope to move to either New York or London and have a job in the fashion marketing field.

Ideal way to spend a free night

My ideal way to spend a free night is with friends. Whether this is having a movie night or going out, time with friends in college makes for the best memories.

I transferred here from University of Central Florida. It was the best decision I could have made. FSU made the transfer experience so easy and stress free.
