Describe your college experience
I've met so many incredible people and had the chance to explore LA in ways I never imagined. From discovering new food spots to checking out iconic places around the city, every day feels like an adventure. I’ve also started taking dance classes at Playground LA, a famous studio, which has been a highlight of my time here. I’m really enjoying my classes and feeling challenged in the best way possible. So far, college life has been a perfect balance of fun, learning, and personal growth.
Tip for future students
My biggest tip for future students is to try everything! Sign up for every activity, go to every event, and don’t limit yourself to just one friend group or one interest. College is all about exploring new things and making connections, especially in the beginning. The more you put yourself out there, the more you’ll discover about what you love and the people you’ll meet along the way!
Favorite class
My favorite class has been an elective musical theater one I took, where we learn audition techniques by performing weekly songs for the class. We bring in sheet music for the accompanist, and our professor works closely with us to improve each performance. I love this class because it’s hands-on, supportive, and has really helped me grow as a singer. The environment is collaborative, and I’ve not only improved my vocal skills but also built a diverse portfolio of songs for future auditions.
Career goals
After college, I plan to attend law school and work as a legal advisor for an organization focused on defending human rights, particularly in areas like refugee protection or combating systemic injustice. I’m passionate about advocating for those who need it most and using my legal expertise to create real change in the world.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night would be dressing up and going out to a nice dinner with friends, enjoying good food and conversation. Afterward, I’d head back to my dorm to relax and unwind, watching Gilmore Girls with my roommate.
