Hello, my name is Taliyah Swanson and I am a freshman currently majoring Criminology and Criminal Justice major here at the University of Alabama on the Pre-Law track. I am originally from Jackson Michigan which is just south of Detroit if you guys know where that is. I am involved in Greek Life here, my sorority is Alpha Omega Epsilon and I am in the Crimson Cheer Club as well as the Pre Law Student Association.

I love the student life here, I am able to meet so many different people and experience such amazing opportunities especially during the football games

Favorite class

Math, I love math because of the challenge and it is something I am able to apply within my everyday life since it has allowed me to help others who do struggle with math related things so I believe it’s a good talent to have because I can be helpful in more ways than one

Career goals

I would love to become a prosecuting attorney and practice medical law and eventually own a law firm.

Ideal way to spend a free night

I am a homebody so I prefer my free nights watching Netflix and laying in my bed
