I love going to concerts, photobooths, trying new cafes and restaurants, going to the gym, finding new music, and building puzzles. Describe your college experience
During my first year of college, I had a slightly difficult time adjusting and making friends. Being in a new environment was scary and it was hard to come out of my shell until my second year. I joined new clubs and became more active in the ones I was already in and made more of an effort to put myself out there. Ever since then, I've been having an amazing time at UCSB, and there are so many opportunitues here to grow professionally and personally as well.
Tip for future students
Don't be afraid to talk to people you don't know, everyone is there to make friends and have fun. Put yourself out there even if it feels uncomfortable, it is not as scary as it seems!
Favorite class
Music 15 was really fun since we just liatened to music during class. While they were older music most of the time, it was nice to be able to learn about new genres and discover the history behind them.
Career goals
I am on the pre optometry path so I am planning on taking a gap year after I graduate to gain more experience in the field and apply to schools then attend optometry school the year after.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Depends on the day: Weekday- hang out with housemates and friends and play some games (usually catan or lego party) or build a puzzle Weekend- go out in isla vista or go downtown with friends, if its too cold i love watching movies with my housemates

Favorite spot on campus
Bren hall second floor, views are beautiful and is a great study spot when its nice outsidw.
