Hi, I'm Naya S
Hi! I'm Naya, and I absolutely love being a Michigan Wolverine. I'm originally from Southern California, but Michigan has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My cousins went here, so I grew up hearing stories about Ann Arbor, game days, and everything that made this place so special. Michigan became my dream school when I was seven years old, and even though moving over 2,000 miles away from home without knowing a single person from my high school was a huge leap, it turned out to be the best decision I've ever made. I'm a junior majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology on the pre-med track, with minors in Medical Anthropology and Judaic Studies. Outside of class, you'll usually find me doing research at Michigan Medicine, leading organizations on campus, walking through the Arb with friends, or trying a new restaurant downtown. I love staying involved because it's introduced me to incredible people and made such a big campus feel like home. I'm a huge people person, and one of my favorite things is meeting new people and helping them fall in love with Michigan the way I did. My goal is for our tour to feel like you're walking around campus with a friend, not listening to a rehearsed script. Ask me anything! Whether you're wondering about classes, dorm life, football Saturdays, research opportunities, Greek life, student organizations, study spots, or where to find the best food in Ann Arbor, I'm always happy to share my honest experience.
