92 Knights, One New Way to Tour: SchoolScoops Launches at UCF

ORLANDO, FL — July 2026 — With more than 70,000 students, the University of Central Florida is one of the largest universities in the country — big enough that a single scripted group tour barely scratches the surface of what campus is actually like. SchoolScoops has launched at UCF to give prospective Knights a more personal way to see it.
UCF is genuinely broad — strong in optics and photonics, modeling and simulation, and business, with deep ties to Orlando's hospitality and entertainment industry. That scale is a real selling point for a lot of prospective students, but it also means there's no way one generic 45-minute walk-through reflects what UCF is like for a given student's major or interests.
A private SchoolScoops tour solves that by letting prospective students choose a current UCF student — in their intended major, involved in the clubs they care about, living the specific slice of campus life they're curious about — instead of getting whoever the admissions office assigns.
UCF launches with 92 current student guides, the largest guide roster of any school in this rollout, available for in-person tours or video chat.
The UCF launch reflects continued growth into large public universities where the sheer scale of campus makes a personalized visit especially valuable. Browse available UCF guides here. Current UCF students can apply to become a guide and earn $40/hour. School counselors and educational travel companies can learn more about private group tours.
