Rutgers Prospects Can Now Book Private, Student-Led Tours of Rutgers–New Brunswick

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. — September 4, 2026 — SchoolScoops, a platform connecting prospective college students and families with current student guides for private, peer-led campus tours, today announced the launch of its guide network at Rutgers University–New Brunswick. Prospective students and families can now book a private Rutgers campus tour led by a current Rutgers student, alongside the university's official information session and bus tour.
Made for a Five-Campus University
Rutgers–New Brunswick spans five campuses across New Brunswick and Piscataway. With a SchoolScoops guide, families can spend their time where their interests are, whether that is a particular major, campus housing, or student life.
“Big universities feel different to every student, and families deserve to hear from someone who has found their place there,” said a co-founder of SchoolScoops. “Our Rutgers guides share what daily life is really like and answer the questions that matter to each family.”
How to Book
Families can browse Rutgers guides on SchoolScoops, compare each guide's year, major, and interests, and request a one- or two-hour tour. Virtual tours by video chat are available for families who cannot visit in person.
Rutgers is among the 100+ colleges and universities on SchoolScoops, where 2,400+ current student guides average a 4.98 out of 5 rating. Tours are led entirely by students and run independently of Rutgers Undergraduate Admissions. SchoolScoops is not affiliated with or endorsed by the university. Families can compare formats on the university's Visit Rutgers page or learn how SchoolScoops works.
