Outgoing Robertson Scholar interested in Business and Health care

Hi! My name is Kayah, and I am a sophomore at Duke who's originally from NYC! I'm interested in a lot of different areas of study and extracurriculars ranging from Economics & Entrepreneurship to Global Health & Psychology to Journalism & Media. I'm pursuing one of Duke's unique academic offerings: Program II which is a blend of 5-6 different academic focuses into one major, that is approved by a rigorous review board. I do a lot of mentorship work on and off campus when it comes to college applications, navigating moving to a new place, and balancing all the new responsibilities of college. My main extracurriculars revolve around supporting companies that are expanding their product line or doing rebrands and service work. Love chatting about Duke and the overall college process, plus showing my favorite hidden spots and food picks around campus.

Describe your college experience

Duke programs definitely helped me get to know my peers, campus, and settle into a new environment. Academic Deans and overall staff are very supportive and caring. There are certain resources that require a bit of digging but overall very accessible.
