Hello, I’m Tabitha but you can call me Tabby! My pronouns are she​/​her. I am a senior BFA Dance major with no minor. I come from a small town Southeast of Seattle Washington. Coming from across the country I understand the feeling of being in an unfamiliar place but, I’m here to show just how homely Hofstra is. As a Dance major I would love to showcase the arts track to prospective students but I am not limited to this. The opportunities at Hofstra have led me to feel confident about my future. Plus the community at Hofstra is very welcoming and I hope to show that fact myself!

Describe your college experience

I applied as a Freshman along with early decision as Hofstra was my top choice. The transition as a freshman was very accommodating.

Tip for future students

A tip I would give to future students is that you can and should reach out for help when you need it. The staff, professors, and students are willing to help.

Favorite class

My favorite class is Greek & Roman Epics. Its my favorite because I am a fan of history and the professor was awesome.

Career goals

I hope to have a dance contract to perform on a cruise ship. My dream is to dance and see the world!

Favorite spot on campus

My favorite spot on campus is the playhouse quad because not only is the playhouse there which I perform in! But on a sunny day the quad has people on picnic blankets, chairs, and a band sometimes comes out to play. It’s a great spot to meet!
