Describe your college experience
My time at college has been one of my favorite memories; I came to college very nervous to make friends, but I have found that Vanderbilt's community and overall environment have made it easy to connect with other individuals. I have found the classes challenging yet inspiring because of their ability to push my thinking in new ways that I haven't thought about.
Tip for future students
Something I wish I had known before starting college is the time management aspect! It is so important to have an understanding of what your schedule is going to look like and how you will manage your time with friends, studying, going out, etc!
Favorite class
My favorite class has been my Art History art where we discuss the connection between major artist's workshops and the market within the Renaissance. I deeply enjoy this class because we are able to discuss whether paintings should be priced in certain ways due to who did the majority of the work (the artist or the workshop). Also, we are able to go see a majority of the paintings due to our collection at Vanderbilt!
Career goals
After college, I plan on attending medical school, where I will eventually go into the surgical field! I hopefully will also get to work with young girls who want to go into STEM as a way to give back to the community.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a night is to have dinner at Dumpling house with my friends, then we make our way home where we partake in Karaoke and games!
High school or secondary school
Laguna Blanca School
Favorite spot on campus
My favorite place on campus is the Vanderbilt University Museum of Art because the building is so beautifully built and it is such a peaceful part of campus. This is closely followed by Suzie's Cafe because it has the best coffee!
