Senior Political Science Major Business Minor

I'm a Vanderbilt senior majoring in Political Science with minors in Art History and Business. I've participate heavily on campus, lived on and off campus, and genuinely know the place. I can show you the academic side, the student life part that doesn't make the official tour, and where to actually eat that isn't the dining hall. I'm involved in SAE, the Political Science Society, and the History of Art Society, which means I actually see campus through different communities and perspectives. I'm not just connected to one corner of Vanderbilt. I can give you a real picture of what student life looks like across different groups, what the academic experience actually entails, and how to find your people here. Whether you're interested in Greek life, policy work, art and culture, or all three, I can show you how that fits into what Vanderbilt offers.

Describe your college experience

I have loved my time at Vanderbilt both academically and extracurricularly. The academics at Vanderbilt are serious and require attention, but Vanderbilt is full of so many fun opportunities outside academics.

Tip for future students

I think it is so important to get involved early. While it's cliche, going to as many things as you can in the first few weeks will allow you to meet many of your classmates and to explore several spaces/scenes to see where you fit. Everyone is dying to make friends in those few weeks so get out and expose yourself to the campus.

Favorite class

My favorite course at Vanderbilt was HART-1105-01 History of Westrn Art Renaiss-Modern with Jack Crawford. Professor Crawford is an excellent professor who somehow manages to make a challenging class constantly engaging. My interests in history and art really came together for this course.

Career goals

I hope to work at an auction house in business operations in NYC.

Ideal way to spend a free night

During the week my ideal free night would be trying a new Nashville restaurant and watching a movie with friends. I also love to play tennis and pickleball with friends during the week.

High school or secondary school

Morgan County High School

Favorite spot on campus

My favorite place on campus is the Rand porch. This is a great spot to grab a bite and hangout with friends when you're an underclassman. Everyone passes by this area, so you get to run into a bunch of your classmates.

Meeting point
