Describe your college experience

My experience has been great! The classes challenge me in a way my high school ones haven't, and I have a lot more free time now to indulge in hobbies or other activities.

Tip for future students

Make at least one friend in every single class you take, so someone can take notes for you if you have to miss class for whatever reason.

Favorite class

My Pandemics and Diseases ISS course has been my favorite class by far. It is absolutely fascinating to learn about COVID-19 from articles and textbooks that were created before it became a pandemic, especially since our reaction to the pandemic is something that has already occurred in the past.

Career goals

I want to be a researcher of neuroscience in a laboratory setting, learning more and more about the mystery that is still the human brain.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Hanging out with a few close friends as we watch TV, play games, or just talk to each other.

Favorite spot on campus

My favorite spot on campus is near the Chemistry building. There is just so much nearby, including the Multicultural and International Centers, which are wonderful places to hang out. The Red Cedar River is also close, allowing one to take some time off near the rushing water.
