Understanding advertising management major who knows how fast things can change
Hi!, I'm Connor, an advertising management major minoring in business and digital storytelling. I am from Ortonville, Michigan. About thirty minutes north of flint. From a town no ones heard of to a giant college city was a big jump. However, From Akers hall all the way to Brody Neighborhood I call this place home! You can usually find me at the gym, especially our new Student Wellness Center. I'm huge into soccer, I've been playing since I was two years old. Sports are a huge part of my life, and this campus is all about active student life. Have you ever heard about our dodgeball team? Despite the amazing buildings and campus life, I know what it's like to be lost or pressured into choosing a path. I have switched majors about 4-7 times through my two years here at State. I'd be happy to help with what direction you might want to explore. That's what college is for, to experiment with what you truly want to do after your four years here at Michigan State University.

Describe your college experience
An opportunity to meet all kinds of people, and some forever friends/connections. College is a terrific opportunity if you are willing to put yourself out there. There truly is something for everybody here ate Michigan State.
Tip for future students
Stay in your dorm as little as possible. There are so many opportunities when you leave that dorm. You never know who you can meet or what you can accomplish.
Favorite class
Project Management (ADV 482), I have struggled to find my path for the past two years. Wondering where my career is currently headed. I was stuck. Until I took this class and met an amazing professor who showed me how good I am at something. I found passion and was able to envision a path for myself through this course.
Career goals
I hope to work for a talent agency one day. Working with people who want to put their skills and abilities to use. I like to see the potential in people, and that's why I want to work with them as my primary job. In 10 years I see myself with a big clientele list and life goals in reach.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I like to spend as much time with my friends or roommates as much as possible. Walking to downtown Grand River is a perfect nigh activity.

Favorite spot on campus
It's hard to limit this answer down to one spot. However, I always found myself walking the trails behind McDonel Hall and Holmes Hall. You can go right down to the Red Cedar River whenever you want.
