Describe your college experience
I have not moved in yet, so I don't have much to say. UC Santa Cruz has always been one of my top schools because of its plethora of research opportunities and beautiful campus. I know the transition will be easy for me because of the support I received over the summer from the orientation team.
Tip for future students
Since I haven’t started college yet, I’m still exploring my options, but my goal is to become a lawyer. Gaining hands-on experience along the way will help me choose the right path.
Favorite class
My favorite class was AP Environmental Science because it turned textbook concepts into urgent, real-world issues like climate change and sustainability while empowering me to see my role in shaping solutions.
Career goals
I’m majoring in Environmental Policy and Economics and plan to pursue a pre-law track after graduation. After college, I’ll prepare for the LSAT, apply to law school, and ultimately earn a Juris Doctor (J.D.) to combine my passion for environmental issues with legal expertise.
Ideal way to spend a free night
One of my favorite activities is watching the sunset with my friends at a place called Communications Hill. We grab dinner and have a picnic there.
