3rd Year Biomedical Pysiology Student hoping to become a PA and love sports!

Hi! I'm Kevin and I am on the Pre-PA track. I currently study biomedical physiology which is the VetMEd college. I love to run on the UGA Track Club team and participate with volunteering at Piedmont with the ACCAS shelter nearby! On my free time outside of studying I love to workout, play sports or go out downtown with friends to blow off steam!

Describe your college experience

I came to UGA as a starting softmore to UGA, it was always my dream school and was proud to finally be at UGA. Honestly, I love UGA but it was not aways easy. It took me a while to make real friends at school (a little harder than I thought), which I didn't expect. The football games are fun and so is the atmosphere. I am super into basketball games and love my classes.

Tip for future students

If I were to give future students tips for their future careers, I would highly recommend joining clubs! You do not have to join Greek life, as I know about 30% of students at UGA are in Greek life because there are many ways to meet people! If you live on campus, you are gurenteed to meet people honestly but if you ae transferring trying out multiple clubs may help! I also joined a transfer student course my second semester, which helped me meet two great friends now and get rid of my experiential learning credit! Defintely try food on and off campus!

Favorite class

My favorite class has been Biology 2! It was a interesting course with a amazing teacher Dr. Keller. A sweetheart teacher and willing to really help her students learn!

Career goals

For my future, as of now, I hope to become in the future a PA-C. I am studying biomedical physiology in order to then hopefully go to PA school after!

Ideal way to spend a free night

This really depends on what night of the week! On the weekdays I am mostly studying if anything but if I am free I loe to see friends for a game like basketbal, basebal or football and maybe catch some food or go running! Highly recommend Three buddies or last resort for food. On the weekends, I love to go out with friends usally once a week and walk downtown!

Favorite spot on campus

My favorite spot i probaly the MLC to study however I love the IM fields in order to go on runs, play soccer with friends or just watch the beautiful Lake Herrick! Best view on camous has to be either the bridge between MLC and Tate or the 7th floor window towards the stadium of the Main Library!
