Second year sociology major with interest in criminology and campus involvement
Hellooo! I am Naomi, and I am a pre-sociology major here at UCSB. I am from not too far away, Los Angeles, but it was a no brainer for me to choose UCSB because of the environment, academics, and laid-back vibe. Besides being involved in Jewish life, Greek life, a Regent's Scholar, and L&S Honors student, I enjoy writing poetry, exploring cities and history, listening to music, karaoke, horseback riding, going to the beach, and just about everything else. So excited to meet you!

Describe your college experience
I have loved my time here so far at UCSB, especially as a freshman living in the campus dorms. The beaches are unbeatable, and the only thing left is for me to put myself out there more.
Tip for future students
I really would encourage everyone to get involved as much as possible and try new things.
Favorite class
THTR 2C with Letty Garcia was my favorite! The teaching style, TA, and the professor's attitude made it so fun and engaging.
Career goals
I want to do everything, but realistically, I want to go into criminal/forensic psychology or the criminology field.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I would love to head to Woodstocks with some friends to do karaoke or trivia! Then hang out and chill.
High school or secondary school
Beverly Hills High School
Favorite spot on campus
My favorite spot on campus has to be the Arbor because of the many options it has and the chocolate chip banana muffins.
Meeting point
Base of Storke Tower on the University of California, Santa Barbara campus
