I’m Lee, a 4th year that is newly admitted into the Terry College of Business for MIS. I did not start off at UGA as a freshman. I transferred here Spring 25’ as a computer science major from the University of North Georgia. Once I got into UGA I realized computer science didn’t align with my career goals so I made the switch. I am now trying to get into the double dawgs program so I can get a bachelor’s in MIS and a master’s in business analytics. I love UGA and the environment this school has especially during football season.

Describe your college experience

I have had an amazing experience in college from living in a dorm my freshman year at UNG, living at home for a year, then moving to Athens. I was super excited when I got accepted into UGA and have had an amazing time especially at football games. I have made amazing memories and plan to make more.

Tip for future students

Make sure you get involved and don’t be scared to just talk to people and make friends. Also take your first year seriously.

Database Management because I loved learning about SQL and Tableau

Career goals

I hope to get into double dawgs and get into the Masters of Business Analytics program. After that I’d like to either land a consulting role or business analytics.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Hanging out in the apartment with friends and watching a movie or talking. Also going on fun side quests with friends. Really depends on how I feel.
