Food blogger, Hello Kitty fanatic, and Bruin for life!
Hi! I’m Lilah, a sophomore on the pre-med track for Psychology at UCLA! If I’m not watching Coraline or gulping down Diet Coke then you’ll catch me at Powell Library or feeding the campus squirrels. I can show you the BEST study/peaceful spots around campus especially for when midterm season rolls around! As a native Californian, I can also give you the most delicious food recommendations for on and off campus. Before attending UCLA, I was a truly introverted kid. However, living in the friendly and academic environment for a year has allowed me to completely come out of my shell and transform into an extreme extrovert! I love exchanging stories with strangers and meeting new people. I firmly believe that no question is a dumb question so ask me anything you wish to know! UCLA has been such an unforgettable experience to me and I would love the opportunity to share my experiences with you!

Describe your college experience
I come from a High School that had no testing which is drastically different from how UCLA operates. I expected to enter the school needing to learn how to study and take tests on my own. However, UCLA has incredible resources for academics, such as the Student Writing Club, and for my psychological needs, such as CAPS, to help me through anything!
Tip for future students
Take advantage of the library system! I did a cluster program (Sex and Biology) which provided students with an in-depth walkthrough of the UCLA library system. Whenever I have papers due or even want a little extra study support I know exactly where and how to access what I need through the library.
Favorite class
Psych 10 is my favorite UCLA class because it dives into the psychology of what makes humans human such as language, food, happiness, and animals.
Career goals
I would love to get involved in Criminal Psychology and study the mind of individuals who have committed crimes.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal free night is to load up on movie snacks at the nearby Target in Westwood (I can’t watch a movie without popcorn) and then set up blankets on the hill to watch Coraline with my friends!
High school or secondary school
Renaissance Arts Academy
Favorite spot on campus
My favorite spot on campus is the small garden behind the Olympic Dorms.
