Describe your college experience
Living by yourself is one of the biggest challenges, but also a source of freedom and learning! The independence is a breath of fresh air and a way for me to understand how I should manage my time effectively and participate in activities that interest me the most. My classes have been challenging, but welcoming that challenge should be seen as must for a college student, thriving in that environment is proof of my successful transition!
Tip for future students
Take everything seriously, but also have fun with what you do! If you can derive enjoyment from your everyday activities, nothing will seem tedious to you! I wish I understood that concept sooner, and understood that planning for my future is something I should constantly on my mind, though with a positive attitude and optimistic view!
Favorite class
My favourite class(es) have been in the Perspectives program, though seen as torturous to many students, it is one of the best ways for me to explore many different aspects of academia and how they interweave with philosophy! The professors get to know you better across the whole academic year and challenge you with ideas and questions that engage many aspects of your life, more than just exams and essays!
Career goals
I hope to become a lawyer, with getting a PhD and progressing into being a professor being a close second.
Ideal way to spend a free night
The best way for me to spend a free night is to jam out to music, have fun beatboxing, and cooking myself a beautiful dinner (anything above a medium should be criminal.)
High school or secondary school
Crescent School in Toronto Canada
Favorite spot on campus
My favourite spot is the audio and video studio labs. They are a great place for me to jam out and beatbox, as well as a well needed quiet spot to get my work done.
Meeting point
In front of Saint Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church on the Boston College campus
