Describe your college experience
I was nervous at first but during welcome week I met some of my best friends through the activities. I definitely would say the year had its ups and downs but I wouldn’t trade the memories or the people I met for anything!
Tip for future students
Be patient with yourself and everything will work out in the end! Everything takes time and practice and there is nothing wrong with that! I would also say don’t limit yourself just because something is not in your immediate comfort zone!
Favorite class
I really liked my English class because my professor was different from my high school teacher and he allowed us to write about things we found interesting. This definitely helped me with my writing and made me enjoy it more. I got to share my thoughts and experiences on a topic I was passionate about!
Career goals
I would like to be a Physician’s Assistant or Physician.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I would spend it with my friends watching a movie or going out to eat at Shadyside or Squirrel Hill!
High school or secondary school
Elizabeth Forward High School
Favorite spot on campus
I really like walking to Schenley Park because it is peaceful and quiet. It also allows you to get away from the busy streets of Oakland!
Meeting point
Mary Schenley Memorial Fountain
