I am an economics major with a minor in Energy Science and Policy and am planning on attending law school following my undergraduate studies. I have heavily involved on campus within Greek life, pre-professional organizations, and cultural clubs. I enjoy trying new shops and restaurants and can always give good recommendations for any occasion. In my free time, I love going on long walks in the Arb and around campus, enjoying Ann Arbors nightlife, and doing anything with my friends.

Describe your college experience

Michigan was always my dream school and I was so excited to graduate high school and move to college. Freshman year, I was placed on North campus which is typically a less desirable place to live and is further from central campus, however I made the best of the situation and made a strong group of close friends. Second semester that year I moved with all of them to be closer to campus and joined Greek Life, expanding my social community and network exponentially. Since then throughout my junior year, I have joined two pre-law societies and one business fraternity as I explore my future career options and passions for law and environmental policy.

Tip for future students

Get involved and talk to everyone!! The more you talk to people and put yourself out there the more opportunities will be available to you and your college experience will be generally more enjoyable. This include classmates, professors, and even Ann Arbor locals, everyone can offer some advice on their experience.

Favorite class

Public Policy 201: Systematic thinking of the Day; this class exposed lots of innerworkings of the government and american policy on public health, racial inequalities, tax policy, and socioeconomic statuses. It was also accompanied with real policy writing of memos and Op-eds on current social issues of our choosing. This class made me a lot more aware of real world experiences and how different policies impact different communities, which inspired my future career goals of environmental and business law.

Career goals

I hope to attend law school and pursue a career at the intersection of business and environmental law. I would love to work in environmental defense and policymaking and work to combat climate change and pollution at its current level.

Ideal way to spend a free night

I love doing anything with my roommates​/​friends. I am always down to watch a movie with some snacks, go out in Ann Arbor, or take a long walk as a nice study break from the rigorous classes.

Argus Farm Stop: Has the best coffee and pastries along with farm fresh ice cream while still being affordable on a college students' budget. It's a bit outside of campus so it's always refreshing to take a long walk and get out of the busier downtown.
