Describe your college experience

My college experience has been great! When I moved in I instantly became friends with my roomates and other people in our building. Throughout the year I took many classes that interested me and was able to explore the beautiful Santa Cruz campus.

Tip for future students

Some tips for future students is to be open to all the new experiences and people you will definitely encounter as you start college, also find a good study place outside of your dorm that you can rely on to keep you focused when you are doing homework and getting ready for your exams.

Favorite class

My favorite class so far has been Secrecy, Knowledge, and Politics which was a class that explored secrecy through many different lenses and exposed secrecy that I didn't know existed within our country and government. It was my favorite because I learned a lot of cool new information, and my professor was very passionate about what she was teaching.

Career goals

I hope to work in international affairs after college, hopefully through policy and working with international governments.

Ideal way to spend a free night

My ideal way to spend a free night would be taking myself on a walk down to the beach before cooking myself my favorite dinner, and then watching a movie with my roomates before going to bed.

High school or secondary school

Arcata High School

Favorite spot on campus

My favorite place on campus is the east field because I enjoy sunbathing and watching everyone play their different sports, walking the track while looking at the sunset over the ocean, and even sitting on the benches at the far side of the track to stargaze and look for planets.

Meeting point
