I am currently a rising fourth year student at UCSC studying ENVS.
Hello, I have been studying at UCSC for a few years now, and am very familiar with campus and the town. I am very familiar with the process of classes and how to get to them, finding housing, and making new friends at UCSC. I have a lot of experience in speaking to groups and customer service, and can answer any questions with a very friendly attitude.

Describe your college experience
Beginning college after high school and my subsequent gap year was challenging in terms of acclimating to a new environment away from home, but the friendly students and my manageable course load helped me become more social and explore/learn new subjects. I came to really enjoy the Santa Cruz area and campus, and have learned a lot about my major and living on my own.
Tip for future students
Joining clubs is a good way to meet new people, study things that genuinely interest you.
Favorite class
Writing 2, my professor was very kind, and the subject material we studied and wrote about aligned with my interests while also expanding my writing toolset.
Career goals
Undecided
Ideal way to spend a free night
Spending time with friends, eating good food, unwinding, watching a good movie/TV show
High school or secondary school
Oakland School for the Arts
Favorite spot on campus
The Porter Meadows. It was right near my Freshman year dorm, and exposes you to a lot of cool wildlife and short and fun hiking trails.
Meeting point
Outside of Slug Stop on the University of California, Santa Cruz campus
