Describe your college experience
Coming from a big high school I was excited to go to a big college. Both of my parents went to UW and have taken my sisters and I to visit Madison many times. Madison is like my second home; there is always so much to do and so many people to meet. I have had a great time so far and I am excited for my second year.
Tip for future students
Talk to everybody, even just saying hi in the elevator- that's how I met some of my best friends. Also study with people from your class, you will not only be able to get more work done but also have someone to ask questions to when you get stuck.
Favorite class
My favorite classes were probably Math 320- math is my favorite subject and I had the best professor; Intereger170- I met some really great friends in my engineering group and we were able to make a wheelchair for a dog with scoliosis; and compsci220- I had a great professor and the projects were really cool.
Career goals
I hope to either go to medical school to become a doctor or go to grad school for biomedical engineering and work at a biotech company.
Ideal way to spend a free night
I would go to chipotle with my friends and then walk by the lake and get ice cream at memorial union.
High school or secondary school
Lane Tech College Prep High School
Favorite spot on campus
My favorite spot on campus are the chairs at memorial union because it is always nice to look out on the lake and see everyone else from campus. My favorite study spot would be the business school library because of the different floors for studying in a group or individually.
Meeting point
Abraham Lincoln Statue at Bascom Hill
