Describe your college experience
My time at UCLA has been incredibly rewarding. Beyond my coursework, I have become involved in undergraduate research, legal internships, and public service opportunities that have allowed me to apply what I have learned in the classroom to real-world issues. Those experiences have helped me grow academically, professionally, and personally while preparing me for a career in law and public policy.
Tip for future students
Get involved early, even if it feels outside your comfort zone. Office hours, research opportunities, internships, and student organizations have been some of the most rewarding parts of my UCLA experience, and many of them started with simply reaching out and asking. Never hesitate to ask questions- might sound cliché but it is the most important advice.
Favorite class
My favorite class was an upper-division Game Theory class because it really challenged me. During that class I would've never thought that I would be saying that it is my favorite class one day but it made me think differently about how people make decisions and solve problems, and even though it was difficult, it was one of the most rewarding classes I have taken.
Career goals
After college, I hope to attend law school and build a career in immigration law and public policy, working to improve access to legal services and advocate for underserved communities.
Ideal way to spend a free night
An ideal way to spend a free night for me is to get in bed early and sleep well.

The Sculpture Garden is my favorite place because it is quiet, beautiful, and full of greenery. The perfect place to recharge between classes.
