Describe your college experience
My transition to college was exciting, but it also required me to become more independent and intentional with my time. During my first year, I focused on building strong academic habits, meeting people, and getting involved in organizations that matched my interests. My experience at Miami has been very positive so far because I have found a strong balance between academics, professional development, campus involvement, and social life.
Tip for future students
My biggest advice is to get involved early, but not feel pressured to do everything at once. Try different clubs, introduce yourself to professors, and take advantage of opportunities even when they feel slightly outside your comfort zone. It is also important to manage your time well and leave room to enjoy college rather than treating every activity like another requirement.
Favorite class
One of my favorite classes has been Business Technology because it connects business strategy with technology and shows how companies use data and digital tools to solve real problems. I enjoyed that the course felt practical and related directly to my interests in finance, technology, and business.
Career goals
After college, I hope to begin my career in finance, ideally in investment banking or another role that combines financial analysis, technology, and strategic decision-making. Long term, I want to build a career where I can work closely with companies, understand how businesses grow, and help make important investment or operational decisions.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal free night would be spending time with friends, going out to dinner, and then relaxing somewhere on or near campus. I also enjoy working out, playing golf, and having a quieter night when I have had a busy week.

Favorite spot on campus
My favorite spot on campus is the Lakeside Village area because it captures a lot of what makes the University of Miami feel special. It is a lively place where students study, eat, meet friends, and spend time outside. It also gives prospective students a good sense of the energy and community on campus.
