Describe your college experience

Coming to UW was one of the best decisions I've made. The campus is incredibly welcoming, and there's always something happening, whether it's sporting events, club meetings, concerts, or just hanging out on the Terrace. As a business student, I've had amazing opportunities to get involved early through leadership positions and student organizations. College definitely pushed me outside my comfort zone, but that's also where I've grown the most. I've made lifelong friends, found mentors, and discovered opportunities I never expected.

Tip for future students

Say yes to things during your first few weeks. Go to club meetings, introduce yourself to people in class, and don't be afraid to try something new. Everyone is looking for friends, even if it doesn't seem like it. Also, don't stress about having everything figured out right away—college is where you discover what you enjoy.

Favorite class

My favorite class has been Marketing 300 because it combines creativity with strategy. I love learning how companies build brands, understand consumer behavior, and create campaigns that actually influence people's decisions. It's made me look at advertising and businesses in a completely different way.

Career goals

I am interested in a lot! I either want to go into business strategy and operations, or product development and innovation!

Ideal way to spend a free night

Meeting friends for dinner on State Street, grabbing Babcock ice cream or coffee, watching the sunset at Memorial Union Terrace, and ending the night with a walk along Lake Mendota.

Favorite spot on campus

My favorite place on campus is Memorial Union Terrace. It's the perfect place to relax after class, meet friends, watch the sunset over Lake Mendota, or listen to live music in the summer. It's one of those places that makes UW feel special and is usually the first place I recommend to visitors. (There is also a pottery studio for students that is so fun)
