Describe your college experience

I have loved my time I have spent here so far. I have not only met amazing people but also have gotten to know the resources available to me which have helped tremendously. While it is hard living on your own at first, everyone is here can help your transition.

Tip for future students

Don’t be afraid to ask for help! Professors hold office hours for you as well as many departments provide free resources just for you!

Favorite class

GE-ENGL 50, Intro to Ethnic Literature Major- SPAN 141, Indigenous Cultures in Mexico

Career goals

I want to become a highschool teacher and teach AP Spanish and English, or travel and teach those languages abroad.

Ideal way to spend a free night

An ideal free night would be me and my roommate going to the beach with some snacks from 711 and looking at the stars and constellations.

High school or secondary school

Salinas High School

Favorite spot on campus

I love Buchanan area, I tend to do my homework out there since I’m not a big library person, there’s shade as well as sun and a really good coffee cart as well.

Meeting point

Base of Storke Tower on the University of California, Santa Barbara campus
