Hi! I’m a sophomore at the University of Miami majoring in Biochemistry and Microbiology on the pre-med track. I’m a very social and involved student who truly loves being part of the UM community. I’m driven and hardworking, but I also believe in maintaining a healthy balance. Along with staying focused academically and getting involved on campus, I always make time to spend with friends, enjoy college life, and make the most of my experience. I've also made it a point to explore Miami as a whole so I would definitely say I am well versed as a student and a new Coral Gables community member.

Describe your college experience

I love the independence and really taking the time to learn myself and continue to grow as a person alongside the amazing people I've met. The time by myself has allowed me to become the person I really sought to be. The academics are rigorous yet very rewarding and I love the path I'm on.

Do not be afraid to say hi to someone and make a friend, they are in the same position as you!

My STEM writing has been a rewarding and enjoyable class that bridged the gap between science, writing and activism for the community of South Miami!

Career goals

I want to go to medical school to become a dermatologist

Ideal way to spend a free night

My friends and I love going out to a new dinner spot in Brickell or the Grove, grab food with a group of people and just have a fun chill time. Once done with dinner we drive home and we all just go to someone's apartment get snacks and watch a movie
