Describe your college experience

I have loved my experience at the UW so far. I enjoy the freedom and flexibility that college offers, as this allows me to explore my interests and passions outside of the classroom. I have had the opportunity to meet so many motivated, intelligent, and talented people. UW has a beautiful campus and is a very inspiring place to live and study.

Tip for future students

Put yourself out there! There are so many events and opportunities for freshmen to meet other students, learn about organizations on campus, and explore different areas of study. There's always something fun happening on campus.

Favorite class

I enjoyed learning 3D modelling and engineering design in Intro to Computer Aided Design. Outside of my major, I enjoyed learning coding, which was a new skill for me, in Intro to Computer Programming.

Career goals

I hope to work in the clean energy field in the future, developing energy systems to make the planet more sustainable.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Exploring Seattle with my friends! We love trying new dessert spots around the city, going to concerts or the theater, and wandering down the pier at sunset.

High school or secondary school

King's Interhigh, London

Favorite spot on campus

Denny Field: it's by the North Campus dorms, and it's a great spot to relax with friends and stop by the student-run ice cream spot, Frostbite. My favorite place to study is the new Interdisciplinary Engineering Building.

Meeting point

The Statue of George Washington
