Describe your college experience

Coming to Duke was both exciting and a little overwhelming at first. It took some time to adjust to the fast pace and find my routine, but getting involved on campus and meeting people helped me feel at home. Since then, I've really enjoyed the friendships I've made, the opportunities I've had to grow, and the supportive community I've found. My experience has made me appreciate what makes Duke special, and I love sharing that perspective with prospective students and their families.

Tip for future students

Don't be afraid to step outside your comfort zone and try new things. Go to club meetings, introduce yourself to classmates, and take advantage of office hours, you never know what opportunities or friendships might come from them. Also, remember that everyone is figuring things out, even if it doesn't seem like it at first, so give yourself time to adjust and enjoy the experience.

Favorite class

One of my favorite classes has been psychology because it helped me better understand how people think, learn, and make decisions. I enjoyed how the course connected scientific research to real-life situations, and it encouraged me to think more critically about human behavior both inside and outside the classroom.

Career goals

After college, I plan to attend medical school and become a physician. I'm passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care and hope to make a meaningful impact by improving the health and well-being of others while continuing to learn throughout my career.

Ideal way to spend a free night

My ideal free night is grabbing dinner with friends, taking a walk around campus, and ending the evening with a good movie or TV show. It's a great way to unwind and recharge after a busy week.
