Sabrina - senior in Biology & HOD; study abroad, research, greek life & orgs!
Hi, I'm Sabrina! I'm a senior at Vanderbilt, and I’m excited to share what makes Vanderbilt great. I study Integrative Biology with a minor in Human & Organizational Development, so I’ve explored a wide range of classes and communities on campus. I’m happy to talk about Greek life, studying abroad, research, dining with food allergies, and anything else you’re curious about.

Describe your college experience
I spent most of high school convinced I wouldn’t even consider Vanderbilt. My older sister was set to graduate from Vandy in 2024, and I didn’t want to "follow in her footsteps." The moment I visited and walked around campus with her though, everything changed. I could instantly picture my own unique experience here, with the bonus of having her nearby. I applied ED1 and choosing Vanderbilt has easily been the best decision I’ve made.
Tip for future students
Get off campus and enjoy Nashville! Our campus is so pretty that it’s easy to forget we’re in the middle of a city, but there’s always something happening just beyond campus. Exploring Nashville is so fun, and there’s truly something for everyone.
Favorite class
Two of my favorite classes have been Managing Talent & Organizational Fit and Biodiversity, Climate Change, & Our Health. I’ve taken a wide range of courses across biology, HOD, and business, but these stood out. The professors of both were passionate about the material as well as connecting with their students. Both classes were small, under 20 people, which fostered discussion and made the learning so personal.
Career goals
I plan to pursue a PhD in biology, after potentially working in ESG for a few years.
Ideal way to spend a free night
Enjoying Nashville! There's always a new restaurant or place to try, and you can't beat live music.
