Describe your college experience
I was a straight A student throughout but was quickly humbled by college classes and workload. Although this was a hit to my ego I learned how mange my time wisely, grow from mistakes and to not put so much pressure on myself. Now I’m striving to have a good school, work, and personal life, which is one of the most important things for a college student. My overall college experience has been pretty good with some up and downs. After I joined a club, I got to learn a lot more about the school and the back ends of everything which has been very enlightening.
Tip for future students
My biggest tip for future college students is you’re allowed to strive for perfection but you are also allowed to make mistakes.
Favorite class
My favorite class was my Carson 61 class that my club members lead. The class is about the intersections of the environmental crisis and every week we would have a new speaker talking about a variety of topics. Because it was a student lead class. It was more engaging, and it felt like we were allowed to have opinions.
Career goals
I want to work as an conservation scientist and anywhere that allows me to be in nature.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night is go out to Abbott Square and get dinner with my roommates. After dinner we would get some type of sweet treat. Then we will play switch games or Uno. I love being around my friends and making memories.
