I'm affiliated with Porter College and was in the dorms just past school year but now currently live in a house with some of my teammates. I'm currently on the cross country and track teams here plus I participate in intramural sports mostly volleyball. I also love going into the forest around campus to search for salamanders and other critters as my camera roll is filled with pictures of them.

Describe your college experience

It has been a little shaky with trying to settle in with being a student and athlete but I think I will have my footing this next year. Outside of that I have made some really good friends and memories I'll hold onto forever.

Tip for future students

Don't be scared to go out of your comfort zone. Either it be meeting new people as it isn't guaranteed that you'll be best friends with your roommate so that person next to you in lecture or on the bus just try to strike a conversation. Trying a new club, sport, or other activities as from my experience the communities here are very welcoming to newcomers who want to join. Or taking that class that seems interesting or for reaching out for help from your TAs and professors.

Favorite class

I'd have to say so far BIOE20B which is development and physiology as the professor was really fun and the class was really interesting.

Career goals

I'm not entirely sure yet but I do want to go into the medical field in some manner whether it being a doctor, pharmacy, or other stuff related to the medical field.

Ideal way to spend a free night

Either going out for a walk that usually turns into a salamander hunt either with friends or myself or chilling inside either watching movies, playing board games, or playing a video game together.
