Describe your college experience
So far my college experience has been really memorable. I remember going into my freshman year and I was feeling really anxious for what came next. Something that was helpful was to connect with others in my dorm hall, classes, and explore clubs to build connections. There are lots of resources that I utilized on campus that I benefited from to help me succeed.
Tip for future students
My biggest tip/suggestion is to utilize the on campus resources that are free and apart of your tuition and to also connect with others in your class or in your dorm hall, and to join clubs! Another thing I would say is just be yourself! You're in college and everyone is in the same boat of feeling nervous and not knowing whats to come next. You got this banana slugs!
Favorite class
My favorite course in college that I've taken so far is called MUSC 80H the Hollywood Music. I really enjoyed the course and the professor is one of the kindest and most accommodating person I've met. The course is very hands on and collaborative. We got to watch a bunch of different Hollywood films and learn about the different film/music terminology.
Career goals
I would like to pursue a masters in the music industry and I see a career in artist management.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night would be to hangout with my friends and watch a movie together in downtown Santa Cruz at the cinema!
