I’ve encountered a few challenges in transitioning to college, such as moving countries​/​cultures and adjusting to new accommodations, while also navigating typical academic transitions and taking an accelerated path to my degree.

Tip for future students

Use your resources! UCSC offers a lot of different resources for a lot of different students. They are not always easy to find or even to access but someone somewhere will be able to help.

Favorite class

Field Biology! This is a super cool class that is basically a whole bunch of field trips and camping with various activities and assignments around field work in the biological sciences. I love being outdoors and met so many of my friends and cool mentors through this class.

Career goals

The short of it is I’m not sure, but I want to work in a intersection space of community and conservation.
