Precious, Biology and Global Health @ Northwestern
Hello! I am Precious, a second-year premedical student at Northwestern University studying Biology and Global Health, and I am from Avon, Indiana, near Indianapolis. I plan to minor in either Spanish or Business Institutions. Outside of school work, I tutor students and love spending time with my friends. I also LOVE trying new foods all around Chicago. Fun fact: my twin sister also goes to Northwestern! I am so excited to help!

Describe your college experience
My transition into college has had its ups and downs, but overall I'd say that it's been pretty good. Getting adjusted to the quarter system took some time, also being away from home. However, I feel like it's so easy to create a home in Evanston as well!
Tip for future students
Be really social, even if you're not a super extroverted person, talk to everyone because having a friend even if you're not super close is always so helpful in not being lonely.
Favorite class
Rebellious Women in Gospel Music, a black music studies class focused on black women in the gospel music industry. This class was amazing, mostly due to the professor, Professor Brooks. He really loves teaching and interacting with his students. The class was pretty conversational where we'd have discussions with him and our fellow classmates. Another part of the class that made it even more fun was that he sang in class!
Career goals
I hope to attend medical school and become a physician.
