Describe your college experience
The transition from high school to college was both exciting and challenging because it required me to become more independent and step outside of my comfort zone. Coming to UCF helped me grow academically and personally by teaching me time management, communication, and how to balance responsibilities while still enjoying student life. My experience has been incredibly rewarding because I’ve met diverse people, explored new opportunities, and become more confident in my goals of pursuing medicine.
Tip for future students
One thing I wish I had known before starting college is that it’s okay not to have everything figured out right away. Get involved early, talk to professors, make friends, and don’t be afraid to ask questions. College goes by quickly, so take advantage of opportunities, manage your time well, and make memories while also focusing on your goals.
Favorite class
My favorite class has been Human Nutrition because it helped me better understand how nutrition impacts overall health and disease prevention. Since I plan to pursue medicine, I enjoyed learning how lifestyle choices and nutrition contribute to long-term wellness and patient care.
Career goals
After college, I hope to attend medical school and become a pediatrician. I want to work with children and families, provide compassionate care, and make a positive impact on young patients’ lives while supporting their long-term health and development.
Ideal way to spend a free night
My ideal way to spend a free night is dancing and singing with friends or family. I enjoy being social, having fun, and using music and dancing as a way to relax and recharge after a busy week.
